Westside Community Schools (also known as Westside Community School District 66) serves the west-central neighborhoods in the city of Omaha, Nebraska.
Sandwiched between Omaha Public Schools district and the Millard Public School system, this urban school district is recognized nationally as one of the nation’s best.

Educators & Administrators
Westside’s teachers and administrators hold themselves to the kinds of high standards they require of their students.
All Westside schools are fully accredited via the North Central Association of the AdvancEd national network for school improvement.
This unique accreditation is a challenge for the district and is awarded every 5-7 years based the performance of its principal and teachers.
Activities & Athletics
Westside Elementary Schools offer a tremendous selection of all kinds of activities including music, creative writing, student council and more.
At the middle school level Westside students have a number of clubs, activities and sports available to them, like math, science, music, art, reading and writing clubs, as well as a full complement of intramural and competitive sports.
The amount of athletic and activity choices for Westside’s high school students numbers more than 50. In addition to the major sports, students can choose to participate in various activities including foreign language studies, robotics and drama.
